Ginger Boost | Make Your Own Shot | Recipe

How do you boost yourself in these times?
We have a great and easy recipe to share. It makes it easier if you have a juicer.
The base is ginger. We take a whole handful of unpeeled and organic ginger. Ginger is one of our most sprayed vegetables, so always choose organic. We juice it straight, without peeling. Collect the ginger juice in a carafe. It will not be more than 1-2 dl of juice.
Then take 2 peeled oranges and 1 peeled lemon. Juice them too. Now you have maybe 4-5 dl of juice. Add water so that you now have about 1 liter of juice. Season with honey. Store in the fridge.
Now you have made your own ginger shot!
Note, that is the dose you should take and no more as it is strong.
We borrowed this recipe from the phenomenal herbalist Stephen Buhner who has dedicated his life to studying the antiviral and antibacterial effects of herbs. Fresh ginger is superior to use to boost yourself. But it should be the fresh ginger and not the dried ginger. We highly recommend Stephen Buhner's books.
