Discover our Reishi powder! Örtfabriken collaborates with a small-scale mushroom farm in Croatia.

The origin of the mushroom is very important. Our Reishi is grown by Jelena and Tomi on their mushroom farm in Croatia. After many years in Canada, they chose to move back to their hometown and create a life closer to nature and family. What started with an interest in cultivation grew into a passion for mushrooms and small-scale crafts.

When I visited the farm, I was struck by the calm and careful work that goes into each harvest. The mushrooms are grown, harvested and taken care of directly. You can read more and see pictures in the blog post below. These Reishi mushrooms were harvested by Jelena in June 2026, dried and ground into a fresh powder and sent directly to Örtfabriken.

We have chosen a pure mushroom powder where the dried fruit body is ground in its entirety, minimally processed. Reishi is a dietary supplement. This results in a product that is close to the raw material and minimizes waste. It is not an extracted powder. Reishin is a strong tree mushroom, coarse in structure, and the inner bag is perhaps a little on the large side to be comfortable in the paper tube. You will notice that Reishin wants to pop out of the jar! It is those little things that we discover along the way when the products are made by hand.

Hur ska du ta ditt svamppulver?

Use this powder preferably in a heated form, as we can most easily absorb all the active substances of the mushroom that way.

For example, as a tea (simmer 1 teaspoon of mushroom powder in 1 cup of water under a lid for 30 minutes). Try Reishi as a cup of tea in the evening!

Make a super decoction: simmer under a lid for 30 minutes and let it steep over the day. Drink a cup when you get home in the evening and want to unwind.
