Treat yourself to an herbal Chaga Chai Latte | Recipe

Here comes our best Chai Latte. The recipe is taken from our teacher Rosemary Gladstar. She is called "the Godmother of herbalism" in the USA. There is so much warmth and care in her. And we think this recipe for Chai Latte without caffeine from her incorporates all her energy.

Örtfabriken likes to add nutritious herbs to everyday life. In a Chai Latte you can fit a lot of nutritious ingredients. The main ingredient here is Chaga or explosive mushroom. A mushroom that explodes with antioxidants. In our part of the world we still have good access to Chaga - but it is threatened due to overharvesting. Örtfabriken's Chaga powder is carefully harvested in forests in northern Finland. Here is our Chaga tea recipe.

Ingredients
5 tsp Örtfabrikens Chaga (our chaga is concentrated, if you use a piece of chaga you should use 0.5 dl)
1 tsp grated ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cardamom

Mix all the ingredients for your own Chai Latte mix or powder. Use a blender or mortar. Heat 1 cup of water or nut milk and add 1 teaspoon of mix. Simmer for 30 minutes under a lid so that no important nutrients evaporate. Decide if you want to strain it. Season with honey to taste. Enjoy!
