Wild plants - now they are here!

Maybe you have a couple of days off now during Easter and can start looking for the little treats. So small and fragile, they look to be. But in reality they are bursting with energy. If you live further north than us you may have to wait a little longer ♡

What nutritional bombs can you pick?

*Dandelion leaves - pick the tender leaves, rinse them well and use them as a salad. The bitter leaves will be good for your digestion.

*Violet - The scent of violets is intoxicating and they are packed with vitamins and antioxidants. Use the flowers in salads, in rice dishes, on pies or other decorations.

*Nettles - Pinch off the fine leaves and use in salads, smoothies, baking bread and soups.

Note: Avoid picking near heavy traffic. If you can, choose unsprayed areas. And when you do pick, do so with confidence and care. Take only what you need.
