SCRUB on birch leaves - natural skin care
Dela med en vän ♡
What can you do with birch?
Now it's time to pick the tender mouse ears and make yourself a beautiful and fragrant scrub.
2 dl fresh birch leaves
5 dl salt (some people prefer sugar. Experiment with what you like best!)
2 dl olive oil (choose oil with a scent you like)
1 tbsp honey
Add some lemon zest and essential oil, if you like.
Blend everything together - we like a chunky consistency. Store in a sterilized glass jar.
🍀How do you use the scrub?
Perfect to rub this scrub into your body when it's a little damp. Like when you shower. We love having it in the sauna. When we sauna, we wash ourselves in the lake. After all, this scrub is only made of natural ingredients, so it feels nice when we then rinse ourselves in the lake. It's simply a step towards natural skin care, which you can easily do yourself.
Birch leaves should be picked during the spring months, while the leaves are soft.
We thank Pia at Nybygget for the great recipe.
