Fenugreek | a beautiful herb for the nervous system

Skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora) is an old cultivated herb, perhaps it has fallen into partial oblivion. However, it is very popular among those of us who use herbs in everyday life. We are very curious to hear your experience with skullcap. Tell us!

The herb had a big impact once upon a time when it was believed that it could cure rabies. It was called a miracle plant and was given the name Mad dog Skullcap . This turned out not to be true and therefore the star of the herb fell. Which is a shame because it has many other powers.

There are limitations on what we can and cannot write about herbs and their effects. For example, we are not allowed to write about what Fenugreek is good for. Instead, we want to share a really good tip where you can read more about Fenugreek. It is the New Zealand herbalist RJ Whelan, whom we always consult. He collects facts about the herb and tops it with the most important thing, his own experiences . He has carefully researched the effects of the herbs during the decades that he has worked as an herbalist. He tests the herbs on himself and in his clinic.

Skullcap - scutellaria lateriflora - a great herb for anxiety, stress management.

We would also like to recommend another good source of data, when it comes to herbs. Herbalist Christopher Hobbs has a database for herbs. There you can read more about Frostwort and a lot of other herbs.

We have grown the skullcap ourselves in our garden, to understand it better by following it from seed to flower. It should spread easily. We hope that it will be so in our garden. It is a fairly small plant with flowers that grow on the side of the stem. Hence its name lateriflora in Latin. The flowers themselves look like a small cap or helmet. Hence the name Scutellaria was chosen. There are several different skullcap species, one of which is called the Chinese skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis). Do not mix them up, as they are very different from each other.

We have received a very nice response to our Happy&Relaxed which contains Sorrel and Lemon Balm . The coolest response concerns Sorrel and meditation. That it greatly enhances the meditative state of mind. Try taking a couple of drops of Sorrel half an hour before your meditation. When you then sit down to meditate, feel the plant. Do you get a connection? It is nice to create your own ritual together with the plant and in this way you can more easily create the everyday life you want.

For those of you who instead want to use only the Frossörten, we suggest our Frida Frossört .

Hej!

Rekommenderas.
