As autumn sets in, it becomes harder to get hold of nutritious green, beautiful leaves. One way to get a nutritious supplement is through sprouting.
We have been sprouting for periods. Sometimes the desire is there, sometimes it is not there at all. Right now it is really flow and then it is important to seize the opportunity. We have sprouted different crops. Especially mung beans, alfalfa and buckwheat. All three are super easy to sprout, so they are recommended for those who don't like to fail.
We have also sprouted broccoli seeds, sunflower seeds and a few other things. It has gone well to varying degrees. But they simply don't give us as big a harvest.
We have also noticed that the stomach can react a little differently to different sprouts. Some stimulate the stomach more than we would like. Other sprouts do not have that effect at all. So try it out!
As usual, we would be very happy if you share your experiences with us. What have you sprouted? And what do they add to your nutrition and diet?
