I, Sara Bonadea George , and Bjornlundaarvet will be holding a celebration of the summer solstice, Litha. There will be folk beliefs about herbs, and the making of beeswax candles and herbal tinctures. At a croft in the Mölnbo area.
Katarina Vilén from Labyrintstockholm.se is holding the walks 'The Mystery of Trees' on June 5th and June 13th in Hagaparken in Stockholm, at 6 pm. I will participate in these walks myself!
I will also take Nellie Orzolek's Rootedmedicinals course in `Herb Distillation´. Here we get to make our own hydrolates and essential oils. June 9 in Järna, 1-5 pm. In the future I also want to participate in one of Lisa Jeannin's @alchemillasapotek fascinating courses in herbal alchemy. This summer, this year's course will take place at @langbrogard in Mölnbo, June 8-July 11.
The Alchemy Academy also has an herbal alchemy course. This esoteric and practical course will take place on August 24-25, in Malmgården's garden in Stockholm. I look forward to participating myself!
We move north to the dreamy Nämforshojdens_ortagard, an herb farm in Näsåker in Ångermanland. Here Maria from @naturklok from the Örtsystrar podcast and @idaangelina who leads the herbal education at Hola folk high school will hold an in-depth course in practical herbal knowledge, June 28-30.
During the Urkult festival, Ida will also have two medicinal plant walks here, August 2nd at 3 pm and August 4th at 11 am.
Well-known herbalist and author Lisen Sundgren leads a wild late summer hike in the lovely Rosendals garden in Stockholm, 22 Aug. 4-5:30 PM
You can also go on herbal walks on the west coast. Experienced herbalist Karoline Karttunen @karolineswayoflife will lead walks in Mölnlycke, on June 13 and June 26, at 5:30 PM-7:30 PM.
In Uppsala, Agnes Brosset @nordiskaorter has built up a nice herbal business. Check out her page to see her exciting workshops. Among other things, there are wild plant hikes, courses in pressing plants and much more.
