Herbalist and artist Lisa Jeannin has a fascinating alchemical herbal pharmacy; Alchemillas apotek. The picture is from her beautiful physical store in Järna which you can visit by appointment. She can be contacted via Instagram @alchemillasapotek or by phone; the number is outside the store.
I love being in her shop and dreaming and buying little treasures made according to the ancient, highly advanced, spagyric art. Lisa also has customers around the world who order elixirs and hydrolates.
Her website is: www.alchemillasapotek.com
While you are in Järna to visit Alchemilla's pharmacy, you can take the opportunity to purchase delicious biodynamic herbal mixtures in Skäve café. Skillebyholm's farm shop in Ytterjärna also sells herbs. Last summer I missed picking roses, so the last time I was in Järna I took the opportunity to buy a bag of beautiful dark pink dried roses here.
Emma Kronberg @rackarungens_ also sells fine, home-made herbal products. A true craft. In Liljeholmen she also has a physical store that is open by appointment.
Emma is often at markets and has a webshop: www.rackarungens.se . You might recognize Emma's awesome salve, which you see in the picture below on the left?
Agnes Brosset from @nordiskaorter , you can see in the picture below. She has just started selling fine herbs, wild-picked or grown by herself in the area around Uppsala.
Rebecca Tiger @wildherbarista sells herbs and other things such as books on herbal alchemy and plant folklore. Or her famous chair for a snippsauna, which you see in the picture below. Please support small players like Rebecca instead of the big online giants when you buy your literature. www.shop.wildherbarista.com
North of Uppsala, there is an herb shop in Salsta with a nice selection. They are a family business that has been in our ownership for a long time. They can also send herbs. During the growing season, this place is also worth visiting for the nice herb garden that is here. https://www.ortagardensalsta.se/
Do you have a really good tip for an herbal store in Sweden or abroad to share?
