Scented bouquet of aspen leaves
Dela med en vän ♡
At a meeting with the Latvian herbalist Ilga, she brought a large bouquet of dried aspen leaves. The scent was lovely and after this I have discovered the fragrant kingdom of leaves.
My experience is that the scents of the leaves come out the best in bouquets; then the scent is intensified. Some trees have wonderfully fragrant leaves, while others are less aromatic.
Aspen is one of my favorites. Take the opportunity now to make a fragrant bouquet of aspen leaves to carry with you into the winter! Tie the small twigs together with string or a beautiful ribbon and let them dry.
Don't the dried leaves in the photograph look as if they were painted with watercolors? They have such beautiful shades.
